At the Silverdale, Washington, office of Michael R. Morrison, Attorney at Law, I am flexible with my bankruptcy, family law and estate planning clients. I also believe that my clients should know how much my attorney's fees are up front whenever possible.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Price
I understand how difficult it can be to pay all of your legal fees immediately after filing for bankruptcy. I will work with you to establish a payment plan for your bankruptcy case.
Typically, filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy costs $1189. If you qualify for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and have lived in Clallam, Jefferson or Kitsap County in Washington State for the past two years, there is a $299 court filing fee. My fee will likely be $890 if you are employed and have fewer than 35 creditors.
Filing for bankruptcy may cost only $789 for low income individuals. If you are on disability, social security or unemployment and your total household income is less than $1,200 monthly, contact me to discuss your bankruptcy case. Although the court-filing fee will still be $299, my attorney's fees will likely be $490.
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Legal Fees
The court filing fee for Chapter 13 is $274. My lawyer's fees are usually a flat fee that covers the process. Please contact me for more details.
Uncontested Divorce Price
There is a $250 filing fee for divorce in Jefferson or Kitsap Counties in Washington State. If you and your spouse can agree to the division of property and child support/custody before our second meeting, my attorney's fees will depend on whether or not children are involved.
If children are not involved in the divorce, my fee will be $500. If children are involved, my fee is $750. Child support must be set in accordance with the child support worksheets that I will complete.
Every Client's Situation is Different
These flat fees apply to cases that are fairly typical. If your case requires more than two meetings or requires more legal work, my fees may be different. I will always work hard to find the most efficient solution to your legal needs.
